The Cove Point lighthouse grounds are still not open to visitors, and the docent tours have not resumed. But you can actually STAY overnight here, in the Keepers Quarters building that dates from 1826, like the lighthouse itself. Cove Point Light is the oldest continually operating lighthouse on the Chesapeake Bay.
