This is a great dog park situated within Conestee Park. The park itself has playgrounds, trails, sports fields, shelter areas and restrooms. The dog park is wonderful because it’s big enough for the dogs to run wild. lots of trees for shade. lots of benches for the humans to sit. plenty of trash area to throw poo bags. the dogs always seem to happy and excited to be there.

The park highlights the remnants of a lake. The Reedy River flows through the park, but the park centers on what used to be Lake Conestee. Silt has filled in most of the old lake bottom creating a number of islands and cut-offs such that it is more like a collection of ponds. I have seen deer, snakes, turtles, and numerous birds in the park.
