3 of the 4 machines I'm running this test on are using Windows 7 and run all night without logging out. The Surface Pro logs out after what I'm guessing is roughly 2 hours of inactivity. It shuts down my application, terminating the test on that machine. This has been very frustrating.

I figured it out on my own-- but anyway -- you must hold down the power off key for 10 seconds (2-3 seconds wont work- this puts in sleep mode) - after ten seconds release - it - then wait a minute then power on and windows should boot up fine -- worked for mine.
