The extended emergency department hours follow a recent expansion of hours at the facility’s medical-surgical day clinic. As of Dec. 1, 2012 the emergency department will be open between 7 a.m. and midnight, seven days a week. The medical-surgical day clinic, which runs Monday to Friday, increased its service by five hours per day in June.

The Cobequid Community Health Centre is only four years old. It is a great addition to the Sackville Community and surrounding areas. It is a Hospital in that it has an emergency department, x-ray, blood collection, and day surgery. It is not opened 24 hrs. The emergency dept. closes at 10 pm.
