Apr 13, 2004 · you need to condition the battery for the first few charges. maybe not 12 hours, but like 6-8 of continuous charging, then a complete drain, and another full charge. do that the first 2 or 3 times and you will get a lot better battery life from your phone, and you won't find yourself picking up a new battery in a year and a half for the price of a new phone!
