I wouldnt trust the delivery report thing [*0#] all that much if i were you, I used to use it and found i was getting delivery reports back but in fact the person(s) were not getting the text's at all. As i always say though .. It IS o2. Neeed i say anymore.

May 02, 2007 · Just tried it again on Tesco (piggyback on O2) and it puts a + sign in front of my text when I press *0+ and still doesn't give me a delivery report. I've had NB texts that took a day to arrive - I relied on the delivery report to notice that the person hadn't got it - so this 02/Tescomob nonsense is really a Victor Meldrew moment for me :mad:

Dec 31, 2004 · I personally hate getting reports after every text but sometimes it is good to know when certain texts are received. o2 do not send delivery reports automatically but if you begin the text with *0# (and that is the number 0) then you will get notification when the text has been delivered.

Posted by Sammy_boy Yep, for some reason O2 have decided not to implement delivery reports, except for the *0# trick. I suspect that using delivery reports costs networks a small amount of money, as it involves sending either a text or message back to the sender, and O2 have decided not to spend this small amount on something that is actually quite a useful feature, skinflints!

Apr 12, 2008 · had this problem with my n73 and used the standard work around. Have upgraded to n82 and automatically carried on using the work around. However in last couple of days whilst messing around i noticed that with the report box ticked i am getting delivery reports without using the code. Cant be just me ? Have o2 finally sorted this out ?
