Oct 15, 2006 · a pre delivery fee is a fee that is attached to the price of your car for the things that were done prior to selling the car such as washing, clerical work, and things that have to be done when they recieved the car. they do have some real fees in getting a car ready to sell. how much, who knows. probably not 249 but there is some cost involved.

New cars have a delivery charge because the dealers are spread out across the country so the costs of delivering a car is different based on location. I’d refuse to pay a delivery charge for a used car.
