May 15, 2014 · This is exactly the same case as mine. Mine is showing out for delivery for last 2 days now. Called canadapost they said since it was mailes to cic and they receive bulk mails, its probably still at govt mailroom and once it is sorted for the concerned dept the status will be updated after last scan.

Needless Canada Post bashing. As so many people have said, "Out for Delivery" means you'll receive the package today. The date you are referring to, again as everyone has pointed out, is the service standard. Anti-Canada Post circle jerk going on here. I know Canada Post is going through some bad times but this post is a little too much.
