Our hospital made us have 2-3 baths a day after vaginal and yes stitches to help heal. I'm surprised at how many are told no. It was a great help for me to heal. Definitely don't add soaps and stuff (Epson salts- unscented are good). We weren't allowed to leave unless we had baths.
