I have been trying to get DTS-HD passthrough to work. My set-up is a Apple TV 4 HDMI into an Arcam AVR750 and then HDMI into my a Sony Bravia. All I get is DTS-MA Matrix, which means that it is recoding it and also outputting it at 1536 bitrate rather than more than double that. Anyone know how to change this? The reason I bought infuse was to use the DTS-HD function.

The release version of Kodi for the SATV won't passthrough Dolby THD or DTS-HD MA at all, regardless of what settings you use. What you're describing will not work for the version of Kodi on the Play Store, or even the beta for that matter.

Nov 15, 2009 · However I can only get Dolby Digital to pass through the TV. Why is this? Dolby works flawlessly but DTS doesnt. An interesting fact is that when I adjust the volume on the TV or any Audio Related option the DTS audio comes through for a second (in full DTS) and then cuts out. So the LCD Panel can obviously passthrough DTS audio.
