May 05, 2009 · You typically can't work in labor and delivery but you can work with antepartum patients, putting them on the monitor, giving them their meds, assessing them, etc. Sadly, on the antepartum floor sometimes you have to deal with miscarriage. I had to assist in the delivery of an 18 week stillborn baby.
