Nursery Operations Part 2. Below are pictures of Joe and Sophia budding the peach seedlings. Budding, meaning inserting leaf bud into the seedling to determine the variety of the tree. In the picture above Joe is cutting the seedling to insert in the bud. To the left, Sophia is wrapping the bud after it is inserted by Joe.
