Burds is a great family activity with beautiful fish. We stumbled across it and decided to stop after seeing so many families fishing. Several different ponds with different sizes. $5 to rent poles, $5 entrance fee per person and $10 a pound for fish. Staff was really helpful and there to help with any issues. Since the kids have never experienced this activity before, i thought it would be a good idea. $5 to get in and $5 per rod (rental). Free bait. So far so good. There were apprx 10 staff members. I think we dealt with almost all of them in the 2.5 hours we were there.

Open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 6pm. Closed Monday to Friday. Open on all statutory holidays within this period. After Nov 1st all fishing is by scheduled appointment only. There are two trout fishing ponds on the property each measuring ½ an acre. There is an abundance of parking and also an outsized shelter for cover from the elements.
