Spend a few hours at night at the Bugis Street Markets. Lots of gimmicks, clothes and souveniers, real night market feel, cheap purchases. It can be quite narrow between stalls and busy but there is certainly atmosphere. Date of experience: September 2011. Ask Hammercounty about Bugis Street.

The best thing about this street is that it is the best for a night market and excellent at offering cheap things for eg; shorts for only $ S 15. Apart from the rings,one can easily find a lot of other stuff and around opposite to it there is the Bugis covered shopping centre.
