While not a major Buddy Holly fan, I found the museum fascinating and wish I had had more time to read everything. We spent about 1 1/2 hours but could have spent another hour. We were also able to tour the J. I. Allison house next door where Buddy Holly spent a lot of time with his friend who lived there.

I had a great time and the people were all so very friendly. The museum was fantastic and the gift shop was a dream for a fan like me. It was a thrill for me to get close to all the Buddy Holly memorabilia.
