The Isle of Arran is often dubbed “Scotland in miniature”, and for good reasons.

The park is open all year round from 9:30 a.m. to sunset. Admission to the castle is 12.50 pounds for adults. Caledonian MacBrayne runs a ferry service from Ardrossan to Brodick, which takes 55 minutes, and there is a connecting bus from the ferry port to the castle, about 2 miles away.
