This is not the largest store I've been to but the fabrics are some of the best quality I've ever seen. The prices are a little higher but you know that there is a tremendous value in what you purchase. Britex is also in the heart of Union Square where they must pay a high rent as well as pay the employees livable wages.

Britex would be toast if there were another fabric store nearby. Their customer service (or lack of) really needs help. Usually I brush it off to these people really hating their jobs, but today I was totally fed up with the ice cold attitude. In all the years shopping here I have only encountered one friendly staff member.
