The gondola ride is lovely and a great way to see some scenery. Plus it is free. Your Mom will have to walk a little way to access the Gondola from the street where the shuttle drop off is located. After you get to the Gondola, it is all about timing. It reminds me of getting on a moving sidewalk at the airport.
