There is no fee at the lower parking lot. Started the hike at about 9:00 a.m. and it took about 4 hours and 10 minutes with a break at the top and 3-4 mini breaks. The hike was about 6.4 miles round trip. You can either start at Jack's Knob trail (in the forest) or hike on the concrete road (180) up to Brasstown Bald.
