After setting off from my hotel on the 20 minute walk to Saigon's Zoo and Botanical gardens, I told myself not to expect too much. After all, it was only a few weeks before, that I had visted the wonderful Singapore Zoo. So with low expectations, I made my way to the ticket booth and bought myself a ticket (12,000 Dong).
