The Port Boca Grande Lighthouse Museum, located at the south end of the island is open M-F 10-4, Sun 12-4 (June, July, September, October: W-F 10-4, Sun 12-4; Closed August). There is no swimming allowed in Boca Grande Pass due to safety reasons.

The Boca Grande Lighthouse is located all the way at the end of Boca Grande. Here you will find a wrap around beach and a lot of sea shells. This is a great spot for fishing but due to the strong currents, swimming is prohibited. If you make the drive to Boca Grande, this is a must sea. Bathrooms are located next to the parking lot.
