The Blue Star Brewing Company was one of the first brewpubs in San Antonio, Tx. Shortly after opening, in 2004 , owner Joey Villarreal and his wife Magdalena opened the Blue Star Bike Shop within the walls of the brewery. In 2009 the bike shop made it's big debut right next door and became a full service bike shop.

We rented bikes to ride the Mission Trail from Blue Star Bike Shop. We received excellent service and a great price. The location is right off the Mission Trail. The bikes weren't super fast but they were adequate for what we needed. Easy to handle for myself and my three kids. One note, the hours on their website are incorrect.
