Their weekday hours are 2-9, but when I called, I found out that if I got there between 1:15 and 1:30pm, that I could get my equipment and be ready for a 2pm lesson. So that's what I did! It was a light day in terms of snowbunnies, so there were only 3 of us waiting to take the adult snowboarding lesson.

This is a fun, usually well-maintained hill that's good for a quick outing with a friend or family member. The ski school gets good marks: my kids all learned to ski at Blue Hills. But aside from two magic carpets, Blue Hills has only a single lift: a 60-seat double chair to the top of Big Blue.
