Took the family to tour Brenham's Blue Bell Ice cream factory today. $3.00 for adults and $0 for kids under 6 AND you get a free scoop??!?! Wow, what a deal. FYI No camera's or phones allowed. First you step into the lobby/gift shop, and you pay for the tour. They give you wooden "coins" to pay for the tour. Get there early as they fill up quickly.

7/31/2014. For $6 you get to tour the factory and learn how ice cream is made. Tours are about 30 people at a time and you walk 1/3 mile for the 30 minute tour. It ends in the ice cream parlor where you get unlimited samples of the 16 flavors and a full scoop of your choice. If you want another scoop it's $1.
