Big Brutus and the museum are a treasure chest of information and history! To get close enough to snap a good picture of Brutus you need to pay an $8 admission fee. A small price to pay as I'm sure the insurance alone to enable visitors to climb up into the giant machine is a pretty penny.

Aug 2021. This was a great opportunity to visit a piece of earth moving electro mechanical history. Enjoyed the self tour and was very impressed. In addition to visiting Big Brutus there was an excellent assortment of antique engines, farm equipment and an indoor museum giving history of the mining history.
