COVID-19 is taken seriously at the Bell Museum, so some parts are currently closed and you should be prepared for all of the precautions they require (sanitizing, limited entry, traffic flow through the building, etc.). The section of the museum dedicated to wildlife found in the different regions of Minnesota is particularly poignant.

Overall, the Bell Museum is an excellent way to spend a few hours, and, while small, seems to be oriented more towards adults than the other natural history museums in the area. It is very quiet, and when I was there we only encountered two other groups. Tragically, the museum is moving to an expensive new building in St. Paul in 2018.
