History. Our business was founded in 1956 as Behnke Studios in Cicero, Illinois by Al & Connie Behnke, Bert’s parents, in 1964 it was renamed Behnke Photographers and relocated to a storefront on US 30 in Frankfort. The Behnkes built their next location on LaGrange Road in Frankfort in 1971.Bert Behnke purchased the studio in 1985.
