This museum is open only for a few hours during the day, make sure you get there before they close at 3pm. I visited Beatty on a Sunday, and I wanted to make sure to make a stop at their local museum! There's no fee to enter the museum, they only ask that you sign their guest book! It's a small museum, although there's plenty to see.

Beatty, Nevada, became the place where the town of Rhiolite came to die. After the mine ceased production much of Rhiolite was moved to Beatty. The museum, which boasts very friendly docents, traces the history of the area with multiple exhibits of interest to every age.
