A very short review of my last visit to the Bear Pit, but it also summarizes an overall observation with all visits. The food is always awesome! This is a neighborhood staple and a must visit if you want home cooked BBQ. The portions are large and BBQ sauce is great! This is a definite must visit! My 3 stars is for the customer service.

The Bear Pit is truly a historical monument for the San Fernando Valley. Their sandwiches on garlic toast are tasty and the baby back ribs are great. Obviously there are places that compete and succeed when it comes to different styles of BBQ but I cannot lie, the bear pit still does it for a lot of locals. Parking: medium sized private lot
