We went to the Playdium merely to use the batting cages. We were a group of 9 and from Italy, so we wanted to try a real Canadian sport. The booking process was very quick and professional and when we arrived the actual launching of the balls did not start until we were ready, so it is a true hour long of play.

All about $20 a half hour or so but if you have a bunch of guys who want to play you can rent out the whole place including mounds to practice pitching. If you want to set-up some regular workouts it might make sense if you want to keep it consistent. I think it works out to $20 or so per person for an hour. I pay phone bill.
