Bahla Fort has changed it opening hours to match the change in weekend in Oman, Friday 8:00 - 11:00, Saturday 08:00 - 16:00. Fort is pretty amazing, beautiful architecture. On the negative side the there is no interpretation so the rooms blend into each other and after around 10 or so they become repetitive.

Bahla Fort is an Omani complex located at the base of the Jebel Akhdar mountains that was listed as Oman’s only UNESCO fort in 1987 and is one of only four UNESCO sites in Oman.
