I had brown/red bleeding at 5-6 weeks and am now 19 weeks with a beautiful little girl! Just as PatNYC said, brown is better than red, and as long as you're not cramping at the same time, try not to worry. If it gets heavier, turns red, and possibly includes cramping, go to your dr/midwife. Good luck!
