Are any of you planning on bringing your own delivery gown to the hospital? Or did any of you 2nd time moms bring your own with #1? I wasn't planning on it until I found this Pretty Pusher gown. It looks so comfy and I would much prefer it over the hospital gown. I'll have to call Kaiser to see if they'll let me bring my own.

My hospital won't even let you deliver in a non-hospital-issue gown in case there's an emergency and it needs to be cut off or something, and the openings in the hospital-issue gowns are standardized so they can easily do skin-on-skin, easily access the tummy for a c-section, easily access the chest and back for medical interventions.

I called the hospital to see if they'd let me bring one, and they were kind of confused by the question. The receptionist was like, "Wait, you want to bring your OWN gown? I guess that's ok." lol. I guess it's not as popular as I thought! I think I'll make one, but not wear it until after delivery.
