Mar 18, 2010 · DDP sells their "042", Peak sells them, as do others, and a buddy of mine that works for Cummins can get 024's with the Bosch part number above for much less than any of them. In the technical articles there is a comparison of flow on the various DV's available.

May 25, 2013 · When Bosch discontinued part number 024 valves, it seems that DDP changed their part number to DVAL 042 although the top of their valves are marked 927 024 similar to a Bosch 181 which is marked 050 181.

Jul 12, 2009 · The flutes on the 022s (179 on their head) go 2/3rds up the distance from the bottom of the delivery valve to the shoulder. Also, as said earlier, the 022s have on flat spot on the shoulder as compared to the 191s which have two flat spots on the shoulder. Last would be the dimple in the bottom of the delivery valve. The dimple in the 022 is deeper.
