Oct 05, 2008 · What Blood tests before Delivery? I just delivered a baby a week ago. They sd they had to do blood tests and get the results back from the lab before they could give the epidural. From what I gather some hospitals do blood tests before delivery to re-test for STD's. I think this may have been what they were testing for.
