Apr 25, 2017 · The BlackBerry Infrastructure checks for new email messages every 15 minutes. If a new email message is received, it is sent to the BlackBerry and the BlackBerry Infrastructure will check for new email again in 3 minutes. If no email is found, the BlackBerry Infrastructure will wait 15 minutes to check again.

They have redirector software installed on their desktops and it forwards their email through my exchange server to the RIM network ([email protected]) for delivery to their blackberrys. It often takes hours for them to get their messages.

Exchange We have over 200 Blackberry's, and recently a few have started receiving e-mails very slowly. It can take several hours for an e-mail to arrive on their Blackberry (arrives in Outlook immediately). Jan 20, 2011 · After a week of tickets and support with RIM they have determined that the issue is a rpc latency issue on Exchange and it is a performance issue that we should address with Microsoft. Looking at various blackberry forums and from our RIM tech rep, this seems to be a common issue for shops running Exchange 2010 SP1 and BES.
