I'll be in Germany for about 8 days and need some recommendations on things to do and places to visit. I'm definitely planning on seeing the Neuschwanstein Castle and possibly driving on the Nurburgring.

I am thinking I will be conducting a major restructure of the back half of the itinerary, which, because I am a map kinda guy, is ALMOST as fun as actually doing the trip.

May 04, 2007 · Thanks a bunch for the tips. Your advice seems very sound. I'll plan something approaching the itinerary that John has suggested. But I'll probably try to arrive the day before I take delivery of the car so as to have a good night's sleep and get over the jet lag. This forum is a great place to get information.

Our BMW ED experience was awesome!!! The BMW Welt is an amazing building that you'll certainly want to take an hour or two to explore. Also, be sure to take the factory tour which is an awesome example of automation in the post modern era, and the need for an well trained-allbeit smaller workforce.
