The best Turkish Hammam you will ever have in Istanbul, even better than the 5 stars hotel Turkish hammam. Possibly the best Turkish bath in Istanbul, the Sultan used to get his scrub on here so 'nuff said. Fully renovated in 2010. As a male you can ask to be washed in the 'Sultan's corner'.

After much debate and hours of research, my husband and I decided to try out the Ayasofya Hurrem Sultan for our Hamam experience. Pros: Traditional (500 years old), yet Modern and clean: the photos you see on the website are accurate depictions of what you experience. The facility is old, but beautifully maintained and clean as a whistle.
