I used my DOS for AWC and it worked great. Had new and old reservoirs (32gal brutes) in the garage. Roll the old reservoir out to the curb and dump it once a month. Nice and easy water changes. Total distance from furthest reservoir to the tank was maybe 15 feet. As @Breadman03 said, calibrate it and it will work great.

1. level 1. rtroop83. · 8y. The problem with the pumps is that they accumulate a lot of corrosion internally, it was a really bad place to put the pump. However if you are mechanically inclined you can tear it down really easily and clean it out. The rebuild kit would be recommended but it might work without.
