The Museum is open all year long, seven days a week, except January 1, December 25, and Easter Sunday. A tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours and it starts at Auschwitz I. The price includes a tour of the former Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau camps with a guide-educator, rental of a headset. The Museum provides transfer between both sites of the former camp. The shuttle bus is intended for individual visitors in guided tours.

The details. The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum is located around 65km outside of Kraków, on the edge of the town of Oświęcim. The site is open from 7.30am every day, with the last entry time varying through the year (from 2pm in December to 7pm in June, July and August), and closing time is 90 minutes later.
