Jul 2019. The lake is very nice! It is cedar water. The lifeguards only allow you to go chest deep in the water. You can only swim between the flags on the beach and where the ropes are. There’s a playground right outside of where the lake is. Across the parking lot from the lake are picnic benches and little grills.
