A little out of the way but well worth the trip and the 1.5 hours you will spend there. As many cab drivers are clueless as to its location ask them to take you to the Atlanta Zoo. (It is right behind the zoo entrance in Grant Park). There is $1 off with an AAA card. The 14 minute video will get you in the mood for the cylorama's two spins around!

Tours were conducted every hour on the half hour, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The tour took approximately 40 minutes and included two parts. In part one of the tour, visitors enjoyed a 14 minute film that gave the history of events leading to the Battle of Atlanta.

The film includes short depictions of war with battle sounds, such as gunfire, shelling, and explosions. Closed captioning in English and Spanish as well as audio descriptions are available. The film will be shown every hour beginning at 10:00am Tuesday–Sunday. The last presentation is at 3:00pm daily.
