Ashby was my regular station, between going to church and Saturday trips to the Berkeley Flea Market in the Ashby BART parking lot. We are able to secure a parking space right near the entrance which was awesome since we'd be gone several hours. My mom and I were headed to SF for the evening and decided to take BART.

Mixed vendors, although I do notice a prevelence of African and Tibetan sellers. Offers more cultural crafts than used items. If you have a chance, try the ginger beer from this nice lady.

On the weekend Ashby Bart has a flea market that consumes half the parking blot right in front of the station. Paying Bart customers must park across the street in the Adeline parking lot. I suggest the lit in front if the station be reserved for paying customers. The Adeline lot could be used for the flea market.

The Berkeley Flea Market is open Saturdays and Sundays, from 7 AM to 6 PM. Recently, we went there on two consecutive days. On Saturday, we got there at 8, and I would say that 80% of the potential dealer spots were vacant. A few people were still setting up. The next day, we arrived at 9:30.
