We stayed 4 hours at the Argo Gold Mill because we had so much fun. We drove from Estes Park and it was well worth the drive. It was fun panning for gold (included in entry price). We bought the gem stone bag in which we found almost every stone on the identifier guide. There was a half hour slide presentation and talk by the gold mine guide.4.5/5(1K)

Turn right at the Subway onto Gilson Ave. Cross the bridge, then turn left onto Riverside Drive. Follow it a half-mile to the mine, on the right. Hours: Daily 9:30-4. Closed in winter.
