Oct 29, 2020 · AFTER HOURS was formed in 1987 by John Francis (vocals), Tim Payne (lead guitar), Martin Walls (bass), Mark Addison (drums) and Rick Young (keyboards). Soon after, the band recorded the album ‘Take Off’, a brillant piece of classic AOR rock in the best british tradition. By 1991, three of the members decided to leave the band.

I can't imagine why After hours didn't become AOR staples of the 80s, their sound is polished yet lightly melodic, John Francis certainly has one great voice, can only really compare his voice to Steve Perry (of Journey), but deeper and more soulful.

here's the after hours album, "living on the edge" great opening aor opening, but "rainbow" what a aor gem the best song of bad habit ever recorded,"don't stop" and "play the game" continue the good aor viber of the album, "more than i" perfect aor ballad, what a feeling of this song,"rowena" excelent chorus,te "more than a feeling" song what a surprise i prefer the boston always but this is great. 9/10.
