We took a break in early March from skiing to see the Great Salt Lake 43 minutes outside of SLC. Antelope Island State Park emerges seemingly out of no where after a drive thru suburban sprawl and is stunning. $15 entry per car, $10 for seniors, and you drive across a 7 mile causeway into the park with beautiful plant and wildlife on either side.
