Amman Citadel in downtown area is worth a visit. This archeological site is educational. But needs better maintenance (at least remove all weeds). Entrance fee of 2JOD is really a good deal. It is on the top of the hill providing an excellent panoramic view of the Amman Old City. It is better to visit at late afternoon when the sun heat is less severe.
