The tour was amazing. Allagash is named for the river in upstate Maine. The tour takes about an hour but you get to try 4 of their beers. I learned about wild beer (that is beer left in a container and allowed to ferment based on yeast in the air not added). I really liked the Allagash White - a Belgian style beer.

Decided to check out allagash on Friday. The brewery opens up at 11am and we came around 11:30. Unfortunately we couldn't book a tour cause they were already booked that day. I would try to book a tour a least a week or two in advance if you know you are going. We were given a card for a sample flight, and then two 10oz samples.
