Our warehouse (Cali) used to do guaranteed pay and even if you VTO’d you would still get your 18 hours. This probably went on for about a year before our sort center announced they were switching to something called MyFlex which ended the guaranteed pay. :/ makes sense though to get paid for the hours you work, although some sorts generally don’t work more than 3 hours outside of peak.
