The lighthouse is only open for tours on Sunday afternoons until 3:45 from Memorial Day through Labor Day mainly because the Admiral lives in the lighthouse keepers house and he doesn’t like tourists running through his yard. There is a small parking lot but it will probably …3.5/5(28)

You can get near the lighthouse coming from either the south or north side. It's locked behind Coast Guard post so that was a let down but the area was a fun place to visit and really glad we made the short trip. Also, go when it's low tide.
